In today’s fast-paced digital world, conflict resolution is not just a “soft” skill—it's a key driver of organizational success, reducing employee turnover, along with increasing productivity & engagement.
The stakes are high. The Society for Human Resource Management shows that toxic workplace cultures, which often arise from unresolved conflicts, have cost U.S. businesses $223 billion due to employee turnover over a five-year period.
In terms of productivity, another research suggests the average employee in the US spends 2.8 hours each week dealing with conflict, translating to a whopping $359 billion in paid hours.

At Wonda, we are excited to introduce a groundbreaking initiative that leverages the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to help individuals and organizations achieve these outcomes through our AI-driven conversational platform with creativity and care.
At the core of our initiative on conflict resolution is a new AI-powered simulation built with Wonda in collaboration with Sylvie Krstulovic, a professional certified coach and podcaster on 1h30.com who helped craft the prompts and general design of the experience.
Using Wonda latest AI Companions and custom instructions, the 15-minute highly personalized experience we designed was aimed at testing how anyone could learn about the NVC method and apply it effectively to the very situation(s) they have had to deal with recently.
23 young professionals (age 25-30) participated over a 10-day period to the testing phase of the newly designed simulation.
Here is a preview of the learning experience which was recreated using sample conversations from the testing group.
With a satisfaction rating of 8.3/10 for the quality of responses, the early results were promising.
During the testing phase, users appreciated how the characters took the time to understand their situations, offered thoughtful solutions, and remembered important details even during long conversations.
This reflects our commitment to creating a personalized experience that resonates with each individual, whether they are navigating conflicts in the workplace, classroom, or personal settings.
While the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, we are always looking for ways to improve. Testers highlighted a few areas where the solution could evolve:
Additionally, users requested more visual aids, such as dynamic images and videos, to help them recall key points during conversations. These elements can serve as helpful triggers that enhance learning retention and engagement.
This initiative marks an important milestone in our journey to empower users with innovative learning tools that drive both personal and professional development.
By enhancing Wonda latest ability to offer more creative, tailored, and impactful conflict resolution strategies, we aim to transform the way L&D professionals and academics approach interpersonal challenges in their communities.
